✨ Welcome to the Rindok Cultural Festival!
Get ready for an extraordinary event that blends entertainment, arts, culture, and outdoor recreation in one stunning location! The Rindok Cultural Festival is a mega-collaboration organized by the Sarawak Cultural Arts Club (KESERA), co-supported by BIUBIU Superstar 2025 and Sumiran Camping Extravaganza 3.0. This large-scale event will take place concurrently at the Sumiran Eco Park and Resort.
This collaboration is expected to create a massive event encompassing entertainment, arts, culture, "outdoor" recreation, and community development. The festival will feature:
BIUBIU Superstar 2025: A platform to discover ethnic arts and entertainment talent, culminating in the BIUBIU Superstar 2025 Gala Night. The event also plans to establish the Star Champion as an iconic annual event, symbolizing appreciation for local art, language, and musical identity.

- Camping Extravaganza 3.0: A community camping activity focusing on outdoor recreation, culture, and family activities. The camping activity provides valuable experiences in self-development, character building, and learning outside the daily environment of work or home.
Objectives
To Uphold Sarawakian Arts and Culture
Highlighting the unique music, dance, and ethnic heritage of Sarawak and Borneo as a cultural identity that must be preserved and celebrated.
To Support the Visit Malaysia 2026 Initiative
Positioning the festival as one of the country's main arts and culture tourism attractions, in line with the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
To Drive Local Creative Industry and Tourism Growth
Supporting local talent, young artists, and creative entrepreneurs in empowering the economy through arts and community festivals.

The ultimate camper challenge competition
Welcome to The Ultimate Camper Challenge! Get ready to be the main attraction for the highly anticipated Camping Extravaganza 3.0, proudly held as a key part of The Rindok Cultural Festival. This is your chance to celebrate the diverse skills and passion of the camping community by shining across three distinct categories: Solo & Tactical, Kayangan, and Group camping! Just remember, playing by these rules is mandatory for participation.
Solo/Tactical Campers (The Bushman Challenge)
- Team Size: Strictly 1 person only.
- Key Focus: Self-Reliance, Minimalist Gear, Flexibility.
- Specific Rules: Campers may bring a ready-to-use tent, but marks are awarded based on the level of extremism and self-sufficiency demonstrated. Primitive/natural shelters (built on-site) receive significantly higher marks.
- Mandatory. The campsite must be decorated and lit up in a creative and inventive way. Lighting must be functional yet highly aesthetic.
- All setup, cooking, and tear-down must be performed without any assistance.
- Must use a single-burner stove or an established campfire only for cooking.
Campers Kayangan (The Comfort and Luxury Challenge)
- Key Focus: Luxury, Comfort, Amenities, Festive Atmosphere & Lighting.
- Specific Rules: Includes Car Camping setups. Encouraged to bring and display comfort items. It must include atmospheric lighting.
- Strictly NO GROUND FIRE.
Group Camping (The Village Collective Challenge)
- Team Size: Minimum 2 Tents to form a group.
- Key Focus: Consist of a few tents that combine to form a village or cohesive group. Focus is on communal areas, efficient joint logistics, and shared resources.
- Specific Rules: Must demonstrate clear, designated communal areas (kitchen, dining, social fire pit) that are shared by the multiple tents within the group. Ground fires are allowed at designated places only.
- Also encouraged to bring and display comfort items. It must include atmospheric lighting.
- Strictly NO GROUND FIRE.
Shared Activity: Cooking Competition
All categories must participate in the mandatory Cooking Competition on Day 2. All cooking materials, ingredients, and themes will be provided by the organizer on Day 2 to ensure maximum fairness across all categories. Download the pdf below for a detailed Rules & Guidelines of the Competition.
